Day 16...
This is the start of a very aggressive shooting week. We are very grateful that the Ebell Club let us come film at their location. It's stunning. The spanish style architecture is gorgeous. Huge thanks to Traci for arranging it and Randy for hanging out with us and making it a pleasure to be there. We also welcomed back old faces to join us on our new project as well as some new faces. First, another director of photography, Darcy. I'm personally very happy to welcome him to our film since he shot my first trailer and countless commercials. Very happy to be working with him again :) Quite the talent...
Also, not only a friend but new business partner, Christina, joined us as our 1st AD...which is a first for Todd! She normally does script super jobs or film fund deals but dabbles in all areas very easily. Todd and I were lucky to meet her on the last picture, LOOK@ME.
Another LOOK@ME return is our sound guy, Marty! This marks the first day, we actually had an official sound guy. I suppose 16 days later is better than 25 days later. Come on people...look at the bright side!
In the grip department, a new friend of Ken's joined us, JOE. Thanks for making the trek to Long Beach! And returning are our favorite CSULB guys...Nate and Michael. Thanks for all the hardwork!

A new face to our movie is Kyle, the STILL PHOTOGRAPHER. He and Virgil are quite the opposite. Very happy to have him with us. Just so happens, he comes with props... being a real photographer! Great casting Debra:) That's Sandy being domestic...doing the ironing. Actually, if it wasn't for all Sandy's help in the art department, the production design alone on this film would kill me. We make one heck of an art department (along with brother Jim), let me tell ya.

Some of our favorite characters joined us again, Chris's father, LEO (played by Tommy), Eustace, Virgil's assistant shooting "The Making of the Wedding Video" (played by Jonathan) and of course the ever lovely and talented Ronna and writer Chris in the roles of JENNIFER and KEVIN. Those two have something going on...I just know it :) Thanks to everyone for a great day! Kudos to you all, especially Todd for getting us done EARLY! Can't end this without special thanks to MOM'S CRAFT SERVICES... Always a treat:)
Side note: Doesn't Virgil look dashing in his new get up courtesy of Linda and the WB Costume department? That's what I thought...
