Day 11...

April is showered with proposals and lots of costumes! This would be the ideal time to thank my long time friend Shawnelle, for her costume advice in the Grecian scene, for her wonderful handmade Tomato costume debuting today and for referring costume house, Norcostco to us so we could get fabulous Cleopatra, Lord Fauntleroy and Jester outfits! Thanks Eleanor and Nancy for all your expert advice! Although ours is not a period piece, in Virgil's mind, anything goes...

We spent the early part of the day in a fantastic little art house theatre in Long Beach called THE ART THEATRE. Chris attempts to propose to Kristen but she knocks the popcorn and hidden ring clear across the room! Check out the cool movie that scares her, LOOK@ME! (a previous Wade/Palmer project). We also welcomed a newcomer, Rebecca to our grip staff giving us our largest camera crew yet! Tarina actually had a 4 people to assist her...woo hoo! Thanks to those returning for more torture...Michael, Alex and Ken :)

Special thanks to James at The Art for helping with the film, being and bringing an extra and for the invites to Spike & Mike! It wouldn't be possible without the blessing of theatre owner Howard...which we are extremely greatful!

Speaking of grateful, gotta thank those wonderful people at Rolling Hills Prep for letting us film there once again! It was so quiet with Spring Break, I think Tom forgot we were there...THANKS AGAIN! The location was fabulous~

We did a couple little scenes to get warmed up...or in this case, just to get started. It was chilly out today...brrrrrr... Who thought this was picnic weather? Darn producer ;)

Banzai coordinated another stunt scene with his stuntman, Shaun in "the giant beefsteak tomato" scene. Very funny stuff! This tomato had a bit of an attitude and made off with another engagement ring...

Then came the finale with Chris proposing a medievil themed wedding, all inclusive of Kristen's jousting brother, Kevin! These three are truly a treat in the film. You are going to roll over laughing when you see it.

Thanks to Sandy, Tarina, Christine, Jeff, Chris and of course, my directing partner Todd for all doing so much to make this an outstanding film experience. Looking forward to sharing this with everyone very soon.

It's funny how this day is remarkably similar to day 8? Both started at The Art and ended at RHP, with Banzai...hmmm. Interesting sign. Wonder what it all means?

Anyway, we enjoyed a tasty lunch at a quaint little local Palos Verdes cafe, Chez Allez! The food was amazing and the owner is a talented actress as well! Stay tuned for more...
