Day 5...

Today started a little late with Todd stuck in traffic with all the equipment but we got in AI by 8:00, set up, did all our LEO scenes with Tommy who is absolutely hysterical and a comical genius and wrapped by 9:30am! Don, AI's owner, did a little cameo as none other than "the bartender". A natural! Thanks for letting us use your awesome bar!

I also want to thank one of our favorite beer sponsers, BAYHAWK ALES and Karl for always doing us the favor of using your products. The glasses were a special touch this time :)

We also welcomed a new CSULB grip, Michael, to the shoot! He's studying cinematography so Tarina spent extra time with him and we gave him his acting debut! Thanks Sandy for finding such great guys~













With a little time to kill before our next location, we sat down with BLAINE, went over the scenes and then started setting up at Cardio Beat. Not everything can be picture perfect or even smell that way 100% of the time and today was our test. A sewage backup in the parking lot had a pumper and some cleaners there for over an hour so we decided to have an early lunch. Although it set us back about 30 minutes, we got some great footage with Josh. He's hysterical and scrumptious!


Then we were graced with the presence of Karma, our makeup artist and some new comedic talent, Hannes. In fact, he gave us a suggestion that we incorporated and it really amped up the scene and made it even more gut wrenching. Christine captured the essence of bitchiness today! That's why she's worth the big bucks. Only if we had it to pay her.













Also, I have to thank my dear friend Elissa for being a great last minute gym member and bringing two other extras! You go girl~ All in all, Coley, Sally, Bob, Bernie, Elissa and Hannes were fantastic. Todd had a challenge with one of his more complicated scenes and not enough time but handled it easily! Experience and patience are great attributes of our helmer.

Brooklyn spent some time lunching with our stars and Karma while we all wrapped. Tarina thought we were farther along in days but we all were impressed to know we are 23 minutes into this film already... looking at 34 by Friday! Congrats to everyone ~ It was a fantastic day regardless of the smell.
