Day 24...

First things first...WELCOME BACK TARINA! We missed you and although we had some great fill in D.P.'s, there's no one really like you. I can't tell you how many times people have commented on your great composition of the shots and the differences since you've been gone. We're glad to have you back on our final days of shooting :)

By now, everyone knows this is a low budget film with some high budget perks! And sticking with that little tradition, check out our vehicles for the day... I now have a another "hat" in transportation (yes it was me weaving all over the streets of Long Beach) and Sandy was our golf cart driver later in the day, transporting our lovely stars to the set!

Erin, Christine, Candace (our sole makeup artist for the day), Sandy and I met at KIKI'S ORIGINALS to start out the day. We hung out in the RV getting ready until our crew showed up and then went inside and did the infamous "bridal shop scene".

This is truly CAROL'S day! Her overbearing, controlling character came out in every scene. Erin, you were fabulous! It was all KRISTEN could do to put up with being put down and humiliated all day by her mom. Christine is wonderful. There should be a book of all the great faces she makes. Sandy...make a note of that.

And of course, many, many thanks go out to Kim for not only letting us shoot in her store but for providing all of our brides maids dresses and bridal gowns for the scene! You're incredible Kim and we all really appreciate everything you did!

Next, we drove on down the road to SWEET PEAS FLOWERS, a great little Long Beach florist owned by Le Anne and Kirsten. They were very kind in letting us film in their shop and one of their employees, Jacquelyn even got an EXTRA role as "the florist"!

A quick thank you to a new grip that came to help us, TANNER! We appreciate you making the trek all the way to Long Beach and look forward to working with you on our last day as well!

We scooted on over to CPK and had a leisurely lunch since we were ahead of schedule! Amazing...considering the number of locations. Actually, a lot of planning and a very professional cast and crew made it easy. This was really a great day, inspite of it's long hours. Thanks everyone for doing such a great job!

After lunch, we went to THE WEDDING STORE, a company owned by an incredible woman, Linda. Well...with a name like that, how could she not be incredible and beautiful and incredible! Okay...that's an inside joke you'll have to wait for the movie to understand. Anyway, Linda was fantastic and her office is stunning. She consults for weddings and it was through her that I ended up meeting most of the people who ended up helping us. Thanks a million Linda!

Now the next location was the real challenge! With a director who is a pro golfer in his other life, it was tough to get him to focus on anything other than his putting. TOTALLY joking! He did practice a bit but we had more than enough time and Erin got private lessons from our background extra, SKEETER! This was one of those locations that make you feel like you're really doing something right. The weather was perfect, Sandy was hauling us back and forth from the RV to the course, Sharon (Mom's Craft Services) had us all stocked up on tons of goodies and food...
We couldn't be having a better week :)

Our last location was ROSSMOOR PASTRIES/THE WEDDING CAKE STUDIO. Now...Sandy and I personally love these guys because Charlie and Janis are always hoisting free samples on us! They're fabulous and fattening but we don't care. Anyway, Janis stayed with us that night and was our BAKER in yet another overbearing Carol / Kristen scene.

It was funny...every location extra felt so bad for Christine when Erin was being controlling and taking over her wedding! The two of them are awesome. Catch them in the flick...coming very soon~

Special extra thanks to Charlie and Janis for lending us prop cakes and figurines for the wedding scenes! Oh...and for the special tour around the bakery that evening. Brooklyn is so impressed with your garbage cans full of frosting and clever flower making techniques!
