Day 23...

I'm sure the question on your mind right about now is, do they actually get married or not? Or...how many weddings can two people have?...to each other? This is not the time or the place to give away such information. I'm not ready to spoil the surprise...yet.

The striking still photographer pictured here, is none other than our lovely makeup artist, Karma! She's trying on a new hat, snapping photos for practice. To our benefit, she is quite talented and soon all of her stills may replace mine! I'd blame it on the camera but recently my good friend, Mark, made me a "killer deal" on his sony and as a result, the film has saved thousands in processing and or still photo fees. Thanks Mark and Karma for helping us out :)

Another person deserving some thanks would be Sandy of the beautiful Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. They let us shoot another of our ceremonies and we are immensely thankful. It's a nice little neighborhood church in the community of Naples. Thank you all for welcoming us there!



Quick introductions...meet the Dillon Family. Kristen, Lara, Carol, Tom, Kevin, Grandma and Grandpa.

A nice wholesome, "stuck on themselves" family meets the "slightly touched" Cole clan of Ruth, Chris, Leo and his bimbo girlfriend, Trish.



Who picks this material? Oh, that would be me and one of my producing partners of the soon to be infamous, BOSSY GIRLZ ENTERTAINMENT, Christina.


This was a challenging day with a large scene in a small space compounded with lots of food prop handling by Sandy, our trusty propmaster.

But everyone was fabulous! Patricia and Erin got on famously as bickering mother and daughter. Michael had just the right amount of love for his daughter and distaste for her fiance. Jeff and Christine were as fantastic as ever, even on "no sleep"...

The beauty of this story is it's one great moment after another in two wacky families, captured by Virgil. If his vision took him down the "reality programing" road instead of "the wedding industry", he might have survived. It's no doubt Eustace would soon flourish when no longer under the thumb of his boss.

The other amazing thing about the project is the writer, Chris and his imagination when it comes to creating moments that fabulous actors like the ones we cast can sink their teeth into and bring to life! It's pretty damn hilarious having an Ohio State Buckey fan waltzing to the dinner table in full regalia...minus his pants! Amazing job Ed :)



We also welcomed a new face to the team, Candace, our third makeup artist to join us. She and Karma had a real challenge today with six women, three of which needed two different looks, six guys and one of each in old woman/man makeup. They handled it very well and the production never slowed due to them. Kudos to you both for doing such a great job on a very demanding day!

We also welcomed back David, the d.p., to our little family. He shot another one of our favorite scenes, "the tux shop store" and the "sports locker room interview".

And finally, two of our favorite CSULB student interns came back to help! I suppose that says something about the film if we can hold on to people for nearly nothing and they seem genuinely happy. In all honesty, thanks to you both for spending so much time with us and really taking it seriously. You've learned a lot over the past four months and we would be happy to have you back and maybe even pay you a little something...other than great craft services!
